Beast of Eden is the story about a washed up Hollywood actor who is fed up with the naval gazing industry that provided him with as much fame as it did misery. Just like Death in Venice or, more appropriately, Sunset Boulevard, this is a story about a protagonist who is doomed from the start. As a child actor he was abused by the producer that brought him stardom, and it is only years later, as the early stages of Alzheimer's creep up on his dilapidating psyche, that he prepares to speak out against his abuser. For this he is being followed, silenced, and forced to escape Los Angeles. Days of driving lead him to Tennessee where, over the course of one night, his world turns upside down.
